Always preview, then delete
Every item expands to show its path and size — nothing moves until you confirm.
Your files can come back
Large files, duplicates, similar photos and uninstalled apps go to the Trash, recoverable until you empty it. Caches that are deleted permanently are called out when you confirm.
Whitelist & ignore list
Permanently protect certain paths, and Xico Clean will never touch them again.
Red lines, never crossed
Critical system paths, SSH keys and cloud credentials (like ~/.ssh and ~/.aws), the keychain — the rule library refuses them outright, no exceptions.
Three independent checks
A pre-check in the UI → a second pass by the safety engine → a final verification by the system-level helper right before deletion — all three sharing one rule library.

Drag an app to the Trash and Xico detects its leftover caches, preferences, and launch items — grouped by the original app, alerts only, never deleting anything automatically.
